It is my personal opinion that this guy falls under the "more money than brains" catagory.

That's just sick.

I would never buy a yellow car...  unless I was willing to upgrade it pretty much just like this guy did.  Yellow is one of nature's codes for "danger! run away!" but very few yellow cars actually deserve that sort of attention.  This one does.

If I ever manage to buy a vette it'll probably be red, will be either a standard coupe or Z06, and I won't mod it much if any.  If I got a yellow one I'd have no choice but to spend another $30k adding another 50-100% hp and I don't really want to spend that much time/money on a car :)

Of course, it would still be cheaper than even a generic light airplane...  Airplanes are expensive.  And I want to own an airplane a lot more than I want to own a 1000hp corvette.

i like the bronze one better. i don't like yellow cars.......hate em. turbos are amazing though. incredible looking runs. have to wonder though, why they trailered a "street" car to the track. we have guys here that trailer their "street" cars to atco. always makes me wonder if they REALLY drive em all the time. most don't. they just like to say they're street legal. they can normally only drive em on nice spring days when it;s sunny, and above 70F, but no warmer than 85F. i;ve always found that amusing.  :rofl

definitly nice awsome runs though, regardless

I think that pretty well covers it.

Meh ... with today's technology even any 4 bagger can become a 9 secs street legal car. Money's the limit, nothing to see here, move along  :frown:

yea, you got that right. even in plain old bracket racing. when i was younger, i had a high 12 second mustang that could compete in it;s class.
when i used to drive our shop race car....a high 9 low 10 sec. camaro, we needed to have a trans brake, and delay box to be competitive. it just adds to the expense really.

still, though........one helluva rush, eh?  oo..those 4 bangers will easily go fast with todays technology...but they'll not last as long as the v8's doing it. :D
