Title: Recording Java based webpages?
Post by: Rondar on October 20, 2008, 10:19:48 AM
Is it possible to record a streaming java based page and then burn it to a dvd?  I would like to record a streaming java ticker tape page from scottrade, where I have an account for stocks.  Or at the very least can I record the page and view it later on a computer?   I dont know how to do that, only take a screenshot of any given page.  Thanks

Only thing I can think of is record your Windows Desktop (like a movie).  You need a separate program, something like HyperCam (http://www.hyperionics.com/hc/) which isn't free but you can try it for free.  Basically you hit record on the program and it starts creating a .avi movie of what you're doing on your desktop.

This is what I use  Easy Video Capture http://www.video-capture.info/

It gives you an option of recording your mouse as well. And it's FREE.
