I remember reading something in the h2h forums about guys building custom skins into the custom maps they made.
I searched and found something about placing the skin bmp into the texsrc folder.
I tried that and nothing happened.
could someone give me a step by step?

Don't know why it didn't work for you because that is exactly how you do it. If it's a skin you created yourself, make sure it is a 8-bit bmp.

I think i clicked "build", then put the bmp in, instead of the other way around.
thanks guys.

Do i need the whole editor to do this? Or just the terrain editor?
I believe i only dl'd the terrain editor but i havent tried. The last time i tried I opened up the map itself and tried to edit from there and i accidentally destroyed the map.

When you download the content editor package you get all three. The terrain editor, the object editor, and the cloud editor. You only need the TE to build custom skins into your terrain.

Ah. So I would need to make my own map to do so.. righto. Thanks Denholm!
