at first it looked like it was real, then the landing was just so perfect under those circumstances that it looked planed out and practiced 100 times before. i have to say it was on purpose, not some freak accident, wing looked a little clean were it broke off (ive never seen a real one, but in pics they all look so jagged)
-
CGI
-
ending was soooo fake
-
The first time I looked at it, I thought it was fake. That wiggle at the landing though, was when he put the camera on the tripod, and then took off running to him.
What I would say is, thats as real as it gets folks, It was a clean break because one of the wing bolts that hold on the plane probably loosend up, and fell off. I see that happen all the time, especially in the models.
I've also seen the same thing done in the model, some guy ripped his wing off the same way, and nife edged it all the way to the ground.
Realy, I think it was, "OMG! I'm not dieing in this plane!" and his adrenile was pumping so hard, that it could kill a horse.
"Thats as real as it get folks!"

I'd say fake, it didn't look real when the plane landed.

thats a freakin R/C plane
-
looks good but just not possible as far as my uneducated physics knows. the plane only flies from the airfoil disrupting the flow, unless they designed the fuselage to act as a wing with the left wing high the rudder alone could surely not hold the plane up at a survivable rate of decent?
-
RC plane. The landing gear would have folded on a real aircraft with that hit. Even the smoke trail behind the plane at the beginning is suspect. There are very few planes that can prop stand and most of them are RC planes.

good god..its obvious CGI...just look at the last 15 seconds.
-
well ill tell you, it must be real cause i just tonight watched an f4u do it and manage to get the ditch instead of me getting the kill for blowing his wing off!!!!
we all know that Aces High is "like being in the cockpit of an authentic world war II fighter", so if it can happen in AH it must be real!!!
:furious :furious :furious :furious

-
Fakey wakey and all the pop ups on that site were really annoying.
ps http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hans-Joachim_Marseille << the greatest pilot of all time.
-
It's fake. It's an RC plane and CGI.
-
The engine noise changes even ...sounds like an rc.... you can see were they switch planes.... every time the plane goes off camera the plane switches...... real noticeable i n the very last switch...

Is this fake too. Just curious, seems unreasonable.

FLCS on the F-15 would try to compensate and may be flyable. Also the fuselage on a bunch of the newest fighters can produce lift.
