I'm old enough to remember when that movie came out and it had me so fooled.  I also remember reading an Iron Maiden interview shortly thereafter saying none of that movie is false, it all happened to them.

I sort of like the scene where they can't find the entrance to the stage.

"Rock on, Cleveland!"
