anyone know why? Last night, it did that and all I had to do was to just restart the computer... now it doesn't work :(

run ping plotter to see what is up with your connection. Do something about it, don't just complain.

Check all the cables and make sure they're tight.

Can I do that when I logg in? There will be some instances where it'll work just fine, and others where I'll disco 10 times in 20 minutes...

Just a thought. How warm is your DSL modem? It could be that it is overheating and restarting itself to prevent overheating.
