How about some kinda marker to indicate when the turret in the panzer is pointed in the direction of travel.

Someone posted a pic from a B-17's ball turret. Inside, just above the gunner's head, was a little gauge that showed where he was aiming in relation to the aircraft. Be nice if we had this.

Good idea, I spend a lot of time trying to get the turret back to position after rotating it. Here's what I do now...
Zoom map all the way, from the drivers position look at your icon and then switch to the gunner position and adjust, repeat 'till centered. The importance of having the main gun centered is truly evident if you try to take a 4k yard shot at somebody while not centered.

Erm when in the gunners position just look behind you. It's really easy to work out which way the turret is facing given a little practice  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

+)  took time off AH to get through exams.  I was spending all my time, away from school either sleeping or flying AH.
Been on summer break now for about a month, just finished building a new puter, and decided it was time to return +)

I'd still like everything listed. The only things that have been added are the rudder steering and more recently, the hull gunner.
