currently i have 63 processess and in the game i have terrible lag
i can't even go to blue and orange because my lag is so bad
just now i got discoed in a tiger after 5 minutes of being frozen
i think it had something to do with my processes
does anyone know how and what i should do to reduce that number?
-
Here is a good start.

Geeeez 63 processes. Get Alcracity, fsautostart or Enditall2. You need to end your processes you do not need. You can get em down to 20-25 easily for better performance.
-
i got em down to 35-40 but im still gettin discoed
i used end it all
but i can't kill and more :cry

It does indeed sound resource related. Make sure you are not using any custom sounds, would be the first thing to do. They use enormous amounts of resources and many have problems which will cause game crashes and discos.
-
Go to www.blackviper.com and use the guidelines they suggest to bring your processes down.

what is your operating system? and what is your basic system info? can you do a dxdiag and post the first third of it here? these are the things that the tech-know-geeks here need to see in order to try to help you further.
lots of luck

Get Alcracity, fsautostart or Enditall2.
Skuzzy, do you recommend any of these?
Or is there a better way to do it?
-
Skuzzy wont recommend programs I dont think. AlacrityPC is the newest of the three. Enditall is a script that is error prone and more time consuming to setup (AlacrityPC takes some time also). FSautostart is the older version of AlacrityPC.
A synopsis on AlacrityPC:

Has it always been this way? or is this only a fairly recent development?
Visit BlackViper as was suggested already
Try running using only the stock skins, If you have all the skins installed this could lead to stutter
Make sure your anti Virus is turned off
Turn video settings down.
Also. make sure you dont have any hidden Virus's or trojans you dont know about

With that many background processes, the game is not going to run well. Until you get that under control, the game will probably not run very well.
The old school way of dealing with it is to get the name of each process and Google it to find out what it is and if it can or should be shut off.

Drediock mentioned something I was about to discuss. Get online and use some free online scanners to determine if your system is infected. If this lag is rather new it's either because you recently installed some junk, a new firewall or anti-virus machine, or you got a trojan/virus.
Here's two good ones:
ESET NOD32 Free Online Scanner:
http://www.eset.com/onlinescan/
OneCare Free Safety Scanner:
http://onecare.live.com/site/en-us/default.htm
Make sure to use Internet Explorer when running those scanners, and don't forget. RUN THE SCANNERS ONE AT A TIME! If anything is found you might also consider grabbing this software and scanning with it, just to be safe:
Spybot Search & Destroy:
http://www.download.com/Spybot-Search-amp-Destroy/3000-8022_4-10122137.html?tag=mncol&cdlPid=10861988
AVG Anti-Rootkit Free:
http://www.softpedia.com/get/Antivirus/AVG-Anti-Rootkit.shtml
That will clear you up on the malicious software end. Afterward you will still want to follow the tips listed above to help improve the performance of your system.

That's where blackviper comes in handy. They give the default, safe and trimmed versions of processes for all the Windows OS's and service packs with a short description of the process. Of course they don't cover user installed stuff like security suites, IM's, auto-updaters, etc but if it's not on the list it's likely user installed and can be turned off.
-
You have to be very careful with blackviper's site. There are things recommended to be turned off that can get you in trouble, depending on what applications you have loaded.
That is why I do not provide a link to it.

I guess I am bucking the curve....60+ (70 at times) processes all the time not a bit of lag!

Do not kid yourself, or anyone else, your system is taking a performance hit with that many processes running. It is impossible for it not to. Whether you get lagged or not is not the gating factor. It is but one of many different things that can manifest when you have that many processes running in the background.
If you know anything about how the operating system works, then you would understand why there is a performance hit.
