Title: Saitek X52 PRO WITH PEDALS & SWITCH PANEL
Post by: Carson on November 08, 2008, 12:02:23 PM
Hello , I have 30 days left over here in the sandbox and the wife has made the mistake of giving me the green light on a new FCS setup
I've looked at CH products and others , but I'm leaning towards the Saitek package on Amazon because of price . do any of you use these with the game and have you had any unfixable issues ?

 :salute

Amazon has all CH products $50.00 less than what CH offers directly. Plus free shipping. Go figure. Brand new stuff. I just go some CH pedals. So I speak from experence.

i use the saitek X52, not the pro. works fine for me. already wore one set out. working on second set. they say ch lasts longer, better quality. i also use saitek rudder peddles again no problems so far. just my .02

I use the X52 non pro also.  It's a great stick, but I concur with Jaeger, they aren't very durable.  It took my old Microsoft Sidewinder 4 years to get a sloppy hat switch, my Saitek started getting sloppy about 4 months in.  It's to the point now where I'm going to have to buy another stick if it continues.

I also very much dislike the way the stick connects with the throttle.  Not sure if it's just my set, but it's very finnicky, occasionally it will disconnect for a microsecond...the lights flicker then my stick is completely out of calibration and I go tumbling down to the ground.

Everyone says it, and I have to agree...buy the CH set.  I wish I had.  :(

I've had my X52 for about 3-4 years now and no problems with it whatsoever. (Non-Pro)

its a 22 inch monitor at 1024X768. +/- 137!  :D

the joystick and throttle are actually screwed into the board and the rudder pedals are screwed into the floor. the keyboard is free and wireless you cant see the mouse, but its on top of my computer. Its a full tower so its tall enough for mouse to be used on it. the soda can is on the mouse pad.

occasionally it will disconnect for a microsecond...the lights flicker then my stick is completely out of calibration and I go tumbling down to the ground.

I used to see this until i got a powered USB hub.
