Don't if anyone recalls a certain flyer accusing me of using racial slurs or not. (I did not, but that is neither here nor there.) Point is, my account got locked because some pinhead "SAYS" I said this or that. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/frown.gif) So now I'm wingless until Pyro decides to either let me in or cancel my account.
Everquest has a pottymouth filter in it. Why can't AH do the same? Cussing is a part of everyday life it seems. Yeah I do my share of it, as do most of you all. Point is, if you don't like it, and I have told folks to do this, SQUELCH the offender and get on with your life. If you do not squelch him the live with it.
And if anyone sees Rude online, tell him to email me please.

A language filter cannot filter the condescending spirit with which words are uttered, it merely filters the individual words themselves and it is not the words which I find offensive; It is the spirit in which they are uttered.

I'm not neccesarilly sticking up for Terne, but you seriously have no room to talk about profanity. Me and a squadmate can attest to this, and I'm sure your account would be locked if we had a screenshot of it, too. This isn't a flame, just an observation. I got an email from Terne weeks before this popped up that you had become frustrated and sworn at him and threatened him. I wasn't there, but I trust it happened, seeing as how it had happened to me and another squadmate. I have been reading these boards for a time now, because I'm still interested in what happenes in this game, and like to know about the developments and releases, though I don't care for threads like this one.
Can't we all just get along?

I have, in the past, "flown off the handle". Here lately though about the most I throw out is the occasional Eff - double-Oh - Kay you, and hoist a one-finger salute. Now-a-days when I'm reaching a frustration point terne showed in that screenshot I tell my squaddies I'll see them later and I log.
I will point out though, that when I've been slinging 'tude beyond friendly slinging, I've not slung anything that could be remotely construed as a racial slur. Unless of course, telling someone they are a skill-less pilot counts as a racial slur =)

Filter? GIVE US A BREAK! Ever here of self restraint? As in it`s your responsibility to police your mouth,not HTC or societys to do it for you,the MTV generation really pi**es me off-it`s ALWAYS someone elses fault/responsibility isn`t it?

An individual is responsible for his or her own actions in my book. But most importantly...
A language filter would have to slow the radio buffer and the host down... boo hiss.

Is there a difference between Terne and Tern?
HT said that you couldn't pilfer somone elses nick.
I don't see another post from Tern when the screenshots got point out, I hate assuming its the same person.

I personally like the Johnny Dangerously swear words, and most folks seem to find them amusing. Again, the creative use of the !@#$%^&*()_++~=-/.?>,|\ keys can be quite challenging also.
If Torque shoots me down with a weak snapshot from his 1C I just log off until I cool down.
