Out of curiousity, when reviewing my films, I've noticed that ground objects seem to shift out of place or disappear all together. Is this a limitation of the film viewer, or a bug?
I was reviewing my flight from Fridays FSO, and noticed when I landed on C17 to rearm and refuel, the CV's position is off to the right, while my plane is just hovering in midair. Then further into the film all the ships in the CV group just dissapeared even though the flak and tracers were still being shown. Can this be corrected?

I have also witnessed the mysteriously shifting CV when viewing film.

The CV is a bug in the Film Viewer... If you Close out and try again, it may appear where it should, but it's uncontrollable really.

Here's another question, why does all ground detail dissapear when playing films. I just downloaded 4 films on proper landing techniques, and all ground detail simply shows as ocean. Is it a computer limitation, or the famous bug?

Most probably you don't have the terrain they were filmed on.

Not sure what the problem is, but it has always been a problem with CV's in the viewer. The CV shown in the viewer is never on the path/route of the actual CV that was filmed.
