Title: Mjollnir
Post by: Masherbrum on November 10, 2008, 06:06:22 PM
It's been just about 4 years since you passed.   I received a PM from kamilyn and this inspired me to post this.    Not throwing you under the bus kamilyn, it's that just between my post Saturday and your PM, I started recollecting the many missions just him and I did.    Kind of selfish of me to an extent, but not the intent.   I miss the two of us laughing on vox at each others jokes and just excellent friendship.

I miss him just as much as I did in August of 2004.

These guys say what I want to say, but much better and with emotion.

I miss you Mjollnir and wish the 327th Steel Talon's all the best in remembrance of their departed Squadmate.

He's still on the roster over at the website. He and one of the guys had a running gag, I think it was Gooss. I was wondering what became of his son, I know he wanted to fly AH.

I hope he stays on there.

Virg, I know his son was playing for about 2-3 months (I'm thinking until about Dec 2004).   I personally helped train him and gave him carte blanche regarding questions.   I wish he still played, but I'm thinking college or work made AH fall by the wayside.

We offered to cover his subscription, but I think it was school that kept him out. He was not actually old enough to be in the squad at the time (we have a minimum age requirement of 18) so I don't think it was college, at least not then.
