I think the Firefly would be a good addition as well, but I doubt it would need to be perked. Its performance envelope is much poorer than the F4U-1C. 316mph top speed is nothing to crow about, that is about the same as a Hurricane Mk I.
The four Hispanos would be nasty though.

No reason to perk the Firefly because it has cannons.
ack-ack
-
That firefly would dominate the CV battles. i hope we get the firefly first instead of the HE-111 :D
-
Yay! i have agreements , who wants to second on the vote for the firefly? lets keeps this post rolling
and it would be cool to have the observers position too, i just think it would be cool
-
The Firefly loaded with 1000lb bombs would seem to be the seaborne equivalent of the Il2.
A great attack plane.
I don't know alot about the planes armor (if any) or turning characteristics , but in general it would be a plane to very wary of,regardless of whether you were on the ground or in the air.

Would love to see a whole stable of AC from Fairy, but for starters, aye, bring on the Firefly!
-
why is everyone drooling over this firefly, doesnt look that fantastic... And that backseat, what use would we have with a spotter? Throw some duel .303s back there or something. It just kind looks like an over sized spit or hurricane, making it undoubtly a crummier version of the seafire, but hey correct me if im wrong, im just not entirely convinced, the vids are cool though.

Four Hispano Mk II 20mm cannons with lots of ammo.

whats alot, im assuming more than the tiffy, but i will say those 4 20mm are some killin machines, i also still wish there was some good use for that observer seat, seems like a waste of space for this game

well do you have anything better than a IL2 version that takes off from a cv with a load out of 2x1000lbs bombs and 8×60lb rockets and 4 × 20 mm Hispano-Suiza HS.404 cannons and that goes 316 mph, and Also would be another flap hog? and is a decent fighter also?
-
i love the firefly wouldnt complain if they added that
-
Yeah im totally for this!!!! ALSO since we're on the subject how about.....
SB2C HELLDIVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
