For those of you that know me know that I'm a certifiable corsair nut. I've flown them since I started back in the free days of AW on aohell. That is not going to change I still love my bent wing bird. Recently though I have started flying the 109, partly due to the training films Agent360 posted. Thanks Agent. :aok
I am quickly falling in love with the 109 family of planes. I am far from proficient in any of them yet. As a matter of fact I believe in LW all I have done in the K-4 is die. In MW I have managed to land some kills in the G-2, and I haven't tried the 109 in EW yet. This plane is fun, now I know why all the 109 fanatics are so fanatical about it. :devil
So far I'm finding that a lot of the flying style of the corsair carries over to the 109 with a few exceptions of course. The most obvious to me is the rudder authority of the 109 is nothing like that of the corsair, but I don't think anything in game has the rudder of the hog. I will say that stalls in the 109 are very predictable, and again compared to the hog very docile. :O
I don't really have anything to say just thought I would post something positive, and let you all know that if you see a 109 that looks like it's thinking about being a hog that's me and should be a pretty easy kill. :D

To me the big difference is that the 109 doesn't have miracle flaps that allow an average pilot to turn with Spits and loop at 100 ias. ;)

The 109E is fun, I rarely fly any other 109 though unless its FSO.
