Title: seen it?
Post by: Pander on November 13, 2008, 02:13:49 PM
Has anyone seen the movie "Battle of Britain"? If I had to guess, I would have to say that a lot people in the forums have seen it. But when I read normal reviews on the movie, the viewer claims that they found the movie dull. I personally enjoyed the movie. It was historically accurate (that's probably the most important factor). If YOU could make a movie about WWII, what would it be like?

Seen it, love it, own it.

Movies I'd like to see on WWII aviation.

8th AF vs Lw in 1944/45.

Airwar over New Guinea 1942/43

Fleet Air Arm in the Med.

This isn't WWII, but I'd love to see a well made movie about the Falklands Airwar in 1982.

<< Owns it. A person with little knowledge of the happenings at the time might find it boring. I liked it... although the soundtrack was a bit on the bad side.

Own it.  I actually thought the soundtrack was pretty good.  Alot of films from that era had great ones.  Good movie too.

good movie, and if I had to make a movie i would make it about the battle of san bernidino straights at layte gulf, where a few destroyers and some escort cariers turned away the emperial fleet, plus my grandpa was in it
