nifty little utility that lets you compile ur stats thru your AH career... if you've used different handles over the years, have fun compiling them individually.

Also have Framework 2.0 installed and it's giving me an error. Are you running a certain service pack or patch? If so, any instructions on where to get them would be great.

hmmm i think i have the version previous to the latest... (got it about in early Sept.)  Yeah, checked 1.5.2 is what i have currently.

JIT is Java related...  do you have java enabled?  perhaps some restrictive setting?  I really dunno, maybe fire off an email to the programmer?

could be a plm with the latest version, i dunno.  if i were allowed, i'd post my version, but.... the developer prefers you use his website....

I was just waiting for your confirmation about the version you are running. As the previous version worked just fine, I think it's a bug with the new one, especially when reading the other postings here.

(Btw, there was a bug in that old version that rsulted in skewed "total kill count" for all tours: First tour kills were coutned twice.)
Title: Re: After 40k + kills and counting...

Any way to get a hold of the older version? I don't see an archive page, sadly.

my first tour probably had less than 100 kills, lol.. let me dbl check, tho' - yeah 152 kills in tour 14. an insignificant statisical error, and upon correction, still leaves me 40k +   :noid

maybe the developer should roll it back til the bugs are worked out?  only issue i have with 1.5.2 is the gunnery % stats.. comes up an error.

HTC have finally rellocated their servers to their new permanent homes, which means the current configuration for the stats app is now incorrect. You need to download the new AHPilotStats.exe.config file from HERE. Unzip it and replace your old one in the C:\Program Files\AKUAG\Aces High Pilot Stats folder.
Or, alternatively, you can manually edit your existing AHPilotStats.exe.config file so that your base URLs are changed from http://svsl1.hitechcreations.com to http://bbs.hitechcreations.com You will need to update both URLs.
Doing either of the above will get the stats app running again.

I had same error, maybe it help you  :salute

This is my app and i wasn't aware of any issues until Lusche alerted me by PM. Version 1.5.3 is the current version. My installed version (1.5.3) is correctly downloading stats etc with no issues.

JIT is Java related...  do you have java enabled?  perhaps some restrictive setting?  I really dunno, maybe fire off an email to the programmer?

JIT is not necessarily Java related. JIT = "Just In Time" compiling. Both Java and .NET (two competing technologies) use it.  The stats app is written using .NET, it does not require in any way shape or form Java to be installed. There is no issue if Java is installed, its just that the stats app does not require it.

could be a plm with the latest version, i dunno.  if i were allowed, i'd post my version, but.... the developer prefers you use his website....
Anyone who wants the app can download it from my site after registering. Please do not re-distribute your download of the app. I made this app in my spare time and maintain it in my spare time. Its free for the community to use. I don't ask for money, I don't ask for jack, except this one condition - don't distribute it, send people to my site to register and they can get their own. Thanks.

Also, it only requires .NET 2.0. You dont *need* 3.0 to run it. However it will run on 3.0 or 3.5 because they really are just 2.0 under the hood.

If anyone is having problems with it, can you PM me with details. The stack trace is nice as well. In your install directory you may find some .dump files (they look like: "AHPilotStatsError_20081025_10-33-7-953.dump"). You can send me any of those you have too. As well as a *detailed* description of what you were doing, how, in what order etc to help me track it down. If you can provide a sure-fire way for me to reproduce your problems, then i can fix it quickly. If not, it takes time to track it down - time i dont always have...

I thought HTC requested that these type of things not be made because it put a horrible load on their server from the repeated inquires?  Does this one avoid that?

Seems to.. It takes forever to do relatively few operations. Must have some kind of frequency cap.. And he tries to bottleneck the downloads on his homepage, so it's most likely been a concern.

bear in mind it's competing with skuzzy's witchhu... errr...  stats page for bandwidth currently.  and i do believe skuzzy has a timer on successive queries now; probably has an affect on this too.

i dunno, but somehow it merged my shane and shane08... or rather incorporated shane08 into the overall shane... i can still pull up shane08 (2.5 tours) as a stand alone.

Define a Squad with your 7+ names as individual members

(http://img210.imageshack.us/img210/5469/clipboard01zw1.jpg)

So when I select MySquad, I can see OBJ vs OBJ stats for all of them combined.

Created a squad with 6 of my accounts. It gave an error about not finding data on pilot x for tours y.  Changed the tours for that pilot in the 'define squad' menu. It gave me the same type of error as above.
Deleted that squad (its one xml file). Defined a new squad with just two of my accounts, correct tour values. It gave me the above error dump.

mmmm... The first error sounds familiar, the program requires exact tour dates. The second is new to me. Guess a PM to Spatula is required at this point ;)

Error dump shows "pilot does not exist" btw... Maybe try to delete those 2 pilots data, delete squad, then download pilot data first, then define squad. Or you may PM me those 2 handles and tour dates, to see if I can reproduce the error.
Title: Re: After 40k + kills and counting...
Post by: moot on November 18, 2008, 10:57:29 PM
Yeah the pilots in the squad both have their info downloaded separately already..
Try m00t and muut, tours 91-106 and 39-48 respectively.  I thought it might be the gap in the two data, but even changing it to e.g. 58-67 and 44-48 and crashes the program..
Maybe the tours of the squad members have to overlap?  Now it won't let me make a squad with just muut in it.  But it does work if I use an actual HTC squad CO like Fester, on his own as a squad.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

The problem is in line 542 - change the 0 to a 2.  That'll fix it.

Ok, I can reproduce the error. M00t 91-102 and muut 39-41 - no joy. Tried a fantasy test squad with Kazaa (105) and GHI (106) and didn't work either.
My own "squad" works despite a 1 tour gap (no pilot in tour 81), but composing a squad just from Lusche (91) and Snailman (105) doesn't work.

Well, that's all we can do I guess. Now it's up to the SPATMAN to see if he feels like this is anything he would like to fix ;)

Yep, thanks Lusche.
