Nice find...BTW this is a very helpful one for AH in my opinion. This is actually a "two circle" opener and can be very effective when used at the right time...

yaknow.....

i was gonna ask about tht one. i assume the blue is the attackee, red the attacker?

i don't quite understand turning away like that. wouldn't that give the attacker time to counter, and possibly gain your 6?

I'm guessing that it depends on what you're in vs what they're in.  If you're in something like a zeke or are at a good turn speed for your plane, it would work fairly well, but if you're flying a box like I do quite often, the results would be disastrous.

i was thinking if i were in the f6f or a p38.......and i think it'd have to be assumed either a spit, hurri, or zeke commin at me........all of which turn much better than the 38, but i think the spit only a little better than the hellkitty..and the zeke.....well, we know that puppy turns soo hard it'll give ya nosebleeds. i figure the hurri'll not turn....it'll continue, take a shot, then climb, is what i see most hurri drivers do......

hijack......you gonna be on for fso tonight sir?....hijack over

That's what I was saying was the blue plane has to be something that turns, or else you're done for.

[hijack]Yes sir I will, I'm looking forward to flying my clunker[/hijack]
