Thanks for posting!

That was cool! Are the other pics from Eve?
-
It's a daytime launch in the other shots. NasaTV had live footage of those same perspectives.. It gave a pretty good view of the exhaust plumes and photography flashes.
Thanks for the vid Tac.
-
Thats pretty neat!
-
:aok :aok Awesome thanks for sharing.
-
yes stroker.. i made a separate video and posted it on the EVE forums. same video, just a couple of eve pics thrown in.
I was going to merge EVE footage with this one.. having a Flycatcher racing after the shuttle or something ;)
-
That was wonderfull Thanks. How loud is the from were the shuttle takes off to your house can you here the sonic boom?? :O
-
No, it happens too far for the boom. It drives my dogs insane when it goes up though.
When it lands we get to hear the sonic booms as it does the slow-down approach. That is some scary crap as some times you dont realize the shuttle is scheduled to land so you out there when this big bellybutton explosion comes out of nowhere lol.
-
That was awesome!!!
NIcely done Tac....remarkable.
-
Nice! Tac. Very nice :salute
-
Lol I hear ya Tac. I lived in Orlando as a kid and I remember being awakened suddenly when the shuttle would come back under the sound barrier when approaching landing. Always wondered what it sounded like from inside the shuttle. I've heard jets breaks the barrier, but the shuttle one seemed much louder.
-
It didn't seem to sound like much more than strangely turbulent airflow from inside the Thrust SST cockpit..
-
that was pretty cool.
-
thats awsome! :aok
-
Awsome to live there and see that stuff. What was the music that you had playing? Man I loved that.
-

I AM YOUR GRANDMA! :devil :devil :devil :devil
(sry couldn't resist ;) ) Orlando east side of town. faaar east.
-
Lol, ok, she lives in Melbourne so just a shade closer. I remember going up to the Cape tons of times as a kid to watch shuttles lifting off.
-
Thanks, Tac; that was awesome. I was stationed at Vandenberg, and the biggest they launched were the Titan IIID's. That was pretty spectacular, but the Shuttle's got it beat.
-
Awesome...and awesome. Where was the music from and what's the name of it. I think that's what made the video.
-
