Title: Why won't zoom remember?

Zoom settings don't hold and have not held since 2001 that I can remember but could I be wrong.

Have they ever held ....and is it true that it is impossible to fix due to some programming error... as I've been told?

The knob on my X35T where my zoom is set reminds it at start up.  ;)

Hold on a second....your saying that you can program your stick to remember zoom settings?

I use the analog dial for the zoom so its physical position 'remembers' the zoom setting.
