I'm reviewing our antivirus/malware protection at the moment and CA looks like a good candidate, wondered if anyone else has used it?
This is for a network of 20+ windows boxes () and we have been using sophos for years, which has been just fine - has killed and removed all but one trojan (bajel iirc). Amazing considering all the users have to have admin rights and, despite instructions, install all sorts of random software.
The problem is that the management console only runs on windows (although the clients can be running pretty much anything) and I'm trying to move all of our server stuff over to our linux box for obvious reasons, so we need antivirus with the central management running on linux.
One other thing I like about sophos is the tech support - when you ring them up you go straight through to someone who actually knows what they're talking about, rather than reading from a script. These guys know which reg entries to edit off the top of their heads - very very rare in application support these days :aok
edit: other suggestions welcome too :)

I use CA on my media computer. I get it free from my ISP and it works really well. But it does take up alot of space. I wouldn't use it on a gaming rig though. :salute

I've used CA for 5 years with no problems at all. I recommend it.
