Title: Throttle calibration.
Post by: mike8318 on November 18, 2008, 10:25:16 AM
For some strange reason my thottle lever will not get me to 100% power. I continually lag behind on bomber missions, and it's a little annoying to my squadmates to have to throttle back so I can keep up. Any way to tweak this in in AH,or is it a Windows setting?

You need to make sure it is calibrated in windows.

A little trick is to not take it all the way up when you calibrate it in game. I put a paper clip at the stop so it stops just a bit short, but at the same place ever time. This will make sure when take it all the way up, you get to / past the 100% mark every time.

Thank you Hammer, I am having the same trouble, I could tell by going to the E6B to see if I was getting full Military power and I wasn't.  I have a feeling, this is going to help me out a little from now on.  :salute

Make sure that whenever you calibrate your entire joystick, you do so to the throttle as well (well all analogue inputs for that matter - as if you have one mapped to RPMs, not calibrating that with the rest can cause problems).
