Lets face it... how many of the top players gonna get killed in a m262 ? I'd bet about 2% will do something like rip its wings off or run outta fuel, the rest of the arena will be scared to deth to even take off if a perk player was online. 4x30mm ! a slicing attack on a buff would send it down in 10 million pcs and the 250 mph closure would be impossible to hit. Or picture this , u cruisin along in your p51 at 400 and a jet rolls in on u , eeeeks ! Pork the Perks , instead have the superplanes avail to all on certain days or something , if at all.

Flying a 262 in the MA will most probably require very careful tactics. Every single enemy will be after you, so if you make one mistake you're history.
Remember, that at 600mph the 262 doesn't manuever too well. A slower, more maneuverable aircraft only has to break and head towards friendlies. The 262 has to keep its speed up and alt high. Otherwise it will be eaten alive...
Let's see how the perk system works, after we've experienced it we can critisize it.

Also remember the 'perk' planes will be one death/bail and you lose it.
This is probably lead to them being flown completely differently than most of the planes you see in the main arena, they really have a reason to make sure they get home.
Speaking of 262s they still have to land and take off, historically where they were most vulnerable, it'll be interesting to see if they are here.

Consider this: Maybe the arena is unbalanced by design.

Your also assuming that you will get to KEEP the perk plane for more than one sortie?
If you ever hit the "exit to tower" button, you loose the perk plane, wether you even flew it or not.
The clue is already in the game. Why do we need the Hot Refuel/Rearm point? Well, maybe this was added in anticipation of perk planes.

Hans, that doesn't make sense. Most days I only have time for a quick sortie or two. If I could only use my perk plane (if I ever get one (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif) ) for one sortie, even though I land it safely, that would be pretty unrealistic.
Why would I loose the plane if it is in perfect condition?

To keep the thing as a bonus, not an everyday ride.
The idea is to have them, but make them rare.

We shall not stop. The fascistic enemy is strong, and is brainwashing the overall population. However, there are a few freedom fighters out there, fighting for history and not fantasy!
