Increase the price of the M4.
Tanks that I've killed this tour:
Panzer: 30
M4: 23
T-34/76: 6
T-34/85: 5
Tiger: 1
Last tour:
Panzer: 43
M4: 34
T-34/76: 6
T-34/85: 4
Tiger: 0
The perk system is supposed to place an economic constraint on the best aircraft and vehicles. In this case, the 6 perk M4 is far more common than the 3 perk T-34/85. The Tiger is usually around 34-36 perks, which it should be, so it's not surprising that I rarely encounter or kill them; but a more powerful explanation is that a 36 perk Tiger is a bad buy when an M4 is only 6.
I think the M4 is a fine tank and a challenging opponent. I still want to see them and fight them, but if we are going to perk the best equipment, the M4 is too cheap at 6 perks. I think a cost of 12 perks would be more representative of its abilities and its popularity, without being such a constraint as to make them as rare as the Tiger.

From my little experience the m4 is a softy. I find the T34/76 is able to handle a hit better than the M4 but has a slow reload and smaller round. The M4 against the T34/85 is just stupid, M4 rounds don't do a great job on these unless you get the turret first If the T34 has a fix it will kill the M4 one shot and has a lower perk value. So if anything needs a higher perk value it would be the T34/85.Sure the M4 is used more but I still encounter a lot of T34's majority are the 85. That's just my thoughts though.

T34/85 ..up it to 7-10 perks.

Real life yes. But in game T34-85 is crap. It normally takes me 3-4 good hits on an M4 to kill him.

I have almost exclusively moved to the t34/85. Sure the Sherman packs a bigger punch but it seems the t34 takes a beating better and it suits my close range GV'ing better. As far as the tiger goes I think it's way over perked. IE last run 2 rounds RICO from pnzr at 40 yes he pulls to my right side 1 round and back to tower I go. Totally lame!!!

You could also say, conversely, that the tanks you kill less, the higher perked tanks, are killing you more, thus deserving their higher perks. Aside from the T34/76 anomaly (because they aren't so great), the current perks would seem to be justified by your evidence as well.

That's a good question. Let's see which tanks have killed me the most. I'll go for Panzer deaths since my Tiger deaths would make it look like there's more M4s than there really are.
Panzer deaths (this tour):
M4: 2
Panzer: 1
Last tour:
Panzer: 26
M4: 7
T34/85: 3
T34/76: 2
I guess I haven't died enough in the Panzer this tour to have significant stats for deaths from other tanks, but last tour's stats also show the higher perked sherman being more common than the lower perked (and relatively new) T-34/85.
If higher perked tanks are supposed to kill me more, then the Tiger should be killing me more than any others, right?

I don't think you can use your personal stats as a meaningful set of data points. I think such a discussion really needs to be based upon player stats that span the entire player base. That would help to remove player skill (somewhat) from the equation.
Not that I think you are wrong. I do think the M4 is too cheap, but I also think that to make a good arguement you need to cast your "data net" a bit wider.

Exactly. A single player's own stats can give some info, a few hints... but not much more. Skill, style of playing and even time of activity do play too much of a role.
