It'll still carry 10 troops dude. In the real world, SkyTrain could carry 28 btw.
There really is no practical reason for adding another troop transport (in the air)......... BUT, I do like the idea of having choices!

The ju-52 may be slower but it was an important part of the war.
it could be used in the AVA and The SEA.

exactly get rid of goon we got now cause the thing is deffence less and throw the junker in. makes everything alot easier and i can gun instead of trying to out run bullets that i cant throw back. come on the goon we have now is like throwing a clay pigeon up for a marksmen. clay pigeon is plane the marksmen is all ground deffences n other planes. we need to get rid of the ticking time bomb, and put in a goon with armament

Get rid of the goon? Why? The only way you get shot down in it is if you try to take a base that still has fighters over it, or ack/gvs still up. You don't need a gun if you're not going to need to shoot anything. Plus, isn't the JU-52's gun just another 7.92mm gun? by the time you do enough damage to the plane on your six you'll be in the tower. JU-52 would be a great addition, but why would you get rid of the C-47??

The few guns that it would carry wouldn't be much help against an attacking fighter, but it's nice to be able to do SOMETHING instead
