A Russian aircraft, although I still want Italian fighters to be added too, A Pe-2, which was used quite a lot on the German line:

From the middle of 1942 defensive armament included 1 Berezin UB machine gun in the upper bombardier's turret, 1 Berezin UB in gunner's ventral hatch and 1 ShKAS which could be fired by a gunner from port, starboard or upper mountings[3]
Some planes were also equipped with DAG-10 launcher, firing AG-2 parachute timed grenades.

Pe-2 would be a great and very well motivated addition to the rather meagre Soviet planeset. There are tons of a/c I'd love to see added, some of the most charming are early-war planes. How about the Blenheim, the Defiant or the Gladiator? The list is long, HTC know it, they have to make priorities.

I'm all for anything being added to the VVS planeset so we can do some real Eastern Front meatgrinder scenarios.

While I agree that the hijack was a bit uncalled for, I am quite amazed by the levels of hate you have towards the G.55 - why is that?

Looks like a russian mossy, i like it, not to add to the thread hijacking but that g.55 is a great plane, beautiful lines on it, why dont you make a thread about it, it deserves it, but the pe 2= awsome, bring it :rock :devil :rock

I don't hate it. It is a neat aircraft, a bit of trivia from WWII aviation.
But that is just it, trivia.
The G.55 had significantly less effect on the war than the C.205 and the C.205 only had about 250 airframes produced and essentially no impact on the war.
I would much, much rather see things like the Pe-2, G4M, Wellington, He111, C.200, Ki-43 and I-16 added before any extremely low production aircraft like the G.55.

The funny thing though is, the last plane added to AH, which had quite a significant part in WW2, is nothing more than trivia here. It has much less impact/usage in AH gameplay than it had in RL, so what does it tell us?
Just being releveant by production numbers means nothing in AH terms, if it does not have performance as back up. It's sad for sure, but thats how things work here. Speaking of the 205, albeit being maybe insignificant in WW2, it has on average just as much usage as the historically much more important 109G2/G6 combined, in both LW and MW.
