Title: Looking for a new home Base
Post by: dhyran on November 24, 2008, 06:57:57 AM
Hi,

i am looking for a new Squadron which has good numbers and is mostly online during the EU Timezone. Flying online now for 7 Years, i am able to start and to land
I like to fly nearly all kind of Airplanes, but my favourtites are Seafire, Spit VIII, 109k4 and the Jug. I like good Teamplay and Wingtactics, got good SA, i dont like Tankwar and other GV stuff. Guess i am an average Buff Pilot, a good Fighter Pilot, unusable in GVs. My English doesent fit for Oxford Standard, but good enough for a precise Sixcall

Any good Squadron got a Seat left open for a Propnose like i am?

 :salute

The Few are the number one European squadron in game  In my biased Opinion,  although mainly British we have several European players,

In game we rotate every 4 months,

If your interested Dhyran please PM me and we can discuss this further.

Bruv, if you take on Dhyran as a squadmember, I know that he will be a great asset to The Few.

Bruv, Dhyran is quite modest when he says he is merely a "good" fighter stick. He was a Warbirds trainer and compiled perhaps the best record in the EMC events there (one life, "realism" events). He is a team player and makes everyone around him learn and perform better. As one of his recalcitrant students who  can never be patient or resist the call of "turn & burn," I learned a great deal from Dhyran and improved a lot. Good luck in your new squad Dhyran---and if you see a low P-40---kill someone else, BUT if you see a P-47N at 35,000---that'll be me looking for a Spit 16 :t :t.

:furious Liar! You're English is equal if not superior to quite a few natural born speakers I can think of.  :D :salute

Maybe I should join a French squad to improve my second language..... on second thoughts, I should practice speaking my English more slowly.

I dont think rolling thunder is what dhyran is looking for.

Why not? Rolling Thunder is an excellent strategy team: fun to be around, has high standards of game play, and in my humble opinion is well respected in the MA and in the FSO's.

Makes you almost want to join doesn't it!  :rofl :rofl

Do not worry Dhyran.  Most of these yokels wouldn't no a participle from a parsnip if it shot them in the nose.  :lol  They're just not used to older English.

Odee---I'm sure your comment was well intentioned but Brucem was not commenting on dhyran's English (Brucem also a non-native English speaker). He was commenting on the destructive and divisive way in which dhyran left the Parrots---like an angry child taking his toys from the sandbox---that is what he meant and as such his comment is really above reproach. For us he is more of a "loose cannon"  or "loose [insert French word for shower]" than a "loose deuce".

impakt,

just another stupid attack from your side! What else should i expect from you? You need a Reason Impakt? I simply was tired working and formed up the Parrots over Years for People like you are! And you just showed why!

Stay out of my Thread Impakt!

The world turns and things happen. Sometimes it's just time for somebody to move along. No clue why it causes such animosity among "friends". People join squads (and leave them or start them) for a wide variety of reasons, makes no sense to take it personally IMO.

I would like to offer my sincere apologies for so rudely inserting myself in Dhyran's thread in such a boorish way. I posted while a bit flustered and when i came back to modify it was too late. My fault, no excuses, my apologies. Please see my first post in this thread about dhyran's positive characteristics as a squadmate and let those words stand. :salute :salute :salute
