Here's a short video I made from raw aerial footage of this year's Barcelona Airshow. Unfortunately, only a handful of performers gave their permission to film them from the air. Hope you like it.

Very good, excellent. Are you involved with the film makers? Air to air footage is rare. I'm not surprised some performers didn't want another aircraft in the vicinity. But obviously it didn't bother the some of the fast jet pilots.
We had a seaside airshow here in Galway Bay, every year just like that. It didn't go ahead this year because of lack of support from the local council and whinging anti war protestors. The RAF and USAF were great supporters of it. Hopefully it will go ahead next year. I'd love to see footage like that.

We were very lucky to have Heliswiss/Cineflex Europe sponsor us with 3 hours flight/record time. I'm the airshow coordinator, but my company does video production as well, so we made this short video for free in order to promote the airshow.
As for the performers, most of them had nothing against the helicopter as long as it was well over/below their box (6500' for Asas de Portugal, 4000' for Patrulla Aspa, and so on). The problem was with the permits, which weren't issued in time. Hopefully next year we'll have that solved and we'll be able to broadcast the whole airshow live.

Very good, That will be worth seeing. I wonder if the airshow here goes ahead next year could something similar be organised. I'm sure our airshow coordinator would love it.
I'm currently buying a house there close to the beach. So naturally I hope it goes ahead.
