ooh now thats cold chalenge!

what you should do, being the great and benevolent you that you are, is take him out and teach him some merging picking and turning inside tricks.  :O

good for you Bosco! <S>

but take it from a tow truck driver, if something seams like alot of fun thens its probably not something you should be doing on the street!

be safe!

Congrats Bosco.  You've entered into a new world out there.  Be careful.  Hang up the cell phone, put the Ipod away, the radio station is just fine where it is, and remember to look in those mirrors every 7 seconds.  :aok

Same here Bosco, except I've had mine for a couple months.  Don't do what I did, just do yourself a favor and get a small, cheap, comfy sedan with good gas mileage.  Congrats, BTW! :aok :rock

Whatever ya do, try not to drive like I do.  Speed limit 55?  How about 115!  Actually I average 70 on most roads, 115 is just my top speed yet.

It may seem fun, and I may have the luck to not have a ticket....yet, but it's dumb to drive like that.  Been in many many near accidents due to my speed.
Stay safe out there, and have no mercy for those idiots. :D

both test?  We only had to take 1 test for getting a permit down here.  Then..after 180 days of driving on your permit, you could go take the driving test to get your Restricted license.  I myself aced both tests a long time ago  :D

I know here in North Carolina it's easy enough. :D

Take Divers Ed Class and behind the wheel, once finished get the "Pass" papers.
Take the papers to DMV, fill out some paper work with a parent/guardian, take the computerized test, get Permit.
After 1 full year of good driving (No tickets or warnings) you go back to DMV and take the driving test, about 15 minutes behind the wheel.
Get a Limited Provisional License, Drive without a guardian from 5am to 9pm.
After 6 months, go back to DMV, and get the Full Provisional License, anytime without guardian.

Currently working on the last stage.  December 5th I go back. :aok
--Best stay off the roads when I drive, gets illegal quick.  If anyone asks, I drive legal though. :)

So, a day after I get my permit, I drive 90 miles on the highway. I got going up to 80, and had an average of 70 the whole way up.
Banshee, I had to take my road sign test, and my written portion of the test. I was doing it on the computer, so every time I got it wrong, it showed me the correct answer on the next page. I only missed three on the test, there was one weird question, "what is the proper distance for a tow cable on a car?" like I would know that, its 20ft, I picked 15. Your a little luckier over there, I have to wait 360 days, to get my operators license, there is no such thing as a restricted license here. :(
