Title: How many thousand pounders to kiill b17 gunners ?

Why do b17 gunners take more dammage than an m16 ? They are afterall just supposed to be a man sitting behind a bit of armor plate .

I had a single Spit kill my tail, top and ball turret gunners before the Spit broke up.  Also took of both aerilons, but I still managed to get my 17 home and land her.  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)

Don't know why thousand pounders won't kill 'em.
