Title: 'Luftwaffe Camouflage and Markings, 1933-1945'

These looks very interesting to me... as far as I can tell the author is considered well versed in the twisting and confusing world of Luftwaffe colors. It looks very interesting.... and I want it... a couple questions...
First off, does anyone here have on of these two volumes? If so, how do you like it?
Second off, would owning both volumes be considered... a good decision if I buy Vol. 1?

I have volume 2 and the photo archive 1. I tried to find volume 1 but could never find it so cant really comment on it. If you have the money to blow then they are pretty good. Tons of perdy pictures info on them but the books are revolves around markings as you can tell from the name of the book. I got mine off of Amazon for pretty good price (I think it was $150 for them with the S&H). If you found a place that has the main volume 1 book please tell me because I would love to get it to complete my set.

I noticed just after I posted this that Amazon has volume 1 out of stock. I'll be hunting for it then...
Does Vol.2 have the paint chips in it, as Amazon describes Vol.1 as having?

Yea I bought mine new so it came with two kinda cardboard pages with colors swatches and a little four page booklet about german paint technology of 30-45. If I can find my USB cord for my camera Ill get you a picture of what they look like. I got my books over a year ago and vol. 1 has been out of stock since then. I found one place that had someone selling an old used copy of it but I was looking for a new copy.

Found the cord. First picture is of the back of the book where the color swaches and booklet are held in a sleave. There is also a sheet of wax paper to protect it. The second picture is of the two cardboard swatch pages and booklet.

All of those look like volume two or photo archive one. Id ask the selling before buying one.
