Winter break is right around the corner which means the SQUEEKIES will be back!!!!!! Dynomite... I thoroughly enjoy getting random "Requests to Join Plane" while in the middle of a 5 minute dog fight. I thoroughly enjoy the glee my squad gets from me inviting the squeekers on our vox, then leaving the arena (I got in trouble for that). I thoroughly enjoy listening to a play by play analysis of what is happening at a particular base. I thoroughly enjoy listening to a mental breakdown due to an excessive amount of "check 6's". These times are hilarious and will be entertaining. Remember to record any memorable instances for sharing on this or any of the other forums.

squeekers shouldnt be disdained but rather embraced. they are the next generation of players. train them right and all will be good in the game.
let them get dweeby and you will have dweeby game play and most of us will stop. teach them well obi-wan's!! :)

This has got to be my favorite part. I still consider myself a N00B, although not a squeeker. I can't understand for the life of me, why on earth every detail of a flight has to be relayed to everyone within range vox.

but when noobs are in the arenas, i see too many people, that insist on doing stupid stuff, like the "alt F4" thing, no matter the question.
that's not gonna get us a new crop of good pile-its. that;s gonna chase people out, or they'll just become alt monkey, pickin, hotards, because that's all they know. :noid

Kids like attention.
My only gripe i have of squeakers is that most have very high pitched voices, so i usually squelch them automatically just because its painful to listen to. When I was a squeaker, it was in AW before there was VOX =).
My advice to the squeakers reading this : type more, speak less.

Nothing worse than someone who thinks "ALT F4" is funny or clever in any way. These are the same people who say to their co-workers "Working hard or hardly working" and laugh and laugh and laugh like it's funny.

I hear a lot of people piss and moan about "squeakers". But when your tiger gets all busted up and you cry mummy on vox for supplies, the "squeakers" are always the 1st to come to the reuse in their jeeps. They do their best to dodge tank rounds and staffers, It doesn't matter how many runs it takes.
They are young, but they'll do anything for a pat on the back. :salute

well, my point was, that if we take em in, they can end up NOT being squeekers, but productive members in here. they can learn soo much quicker than our old tulips can. they then can give us good fights, and probably be incredible fun to fly with.

Yes, Hilarious, no hyperbole there. I guess I'll bite.... So, working hard or hardly working? HAHAHAHAHA Oh god, my belly hurts that was hilarious too. I like to think I have at least a small sense of humor, but the alt-f4 thing just is not funny at all, and calling it hilarious is paramount to calling Jeffrey Dahmer "a little sad and hungry".

Dead on. You gotta envy them.... Not worried about scores or rank or complaining about being killed and all the stuff we get so worked up about.They are totally immersed in the game and having a whole lotta fun at the same time. I think those were the times when I enjoyed the game the most

Ya know..theres a difference here between newbies and squeakers.
newbs do things like carpet bomb the grass, drop troops over the Field, make bombing missions with 100 lb bombs and 100% fuel and sometimes get you to killshot yourself when your engaging someone. The point is..these guys do it QUIETLY. Yes they make mistakes and sometimes ask questions on country that might be absurd to long time players, but remember how hard this game was when you first entered the arenas. These people are the ones that I love to help with whatever questions they might have.
Squeakers on the other hand...do things like scream on vox or text "HELP HELP IM BEING SHOT DOWN" " PLEASE HELP". these are the guys that have the attention span of a goldfish and must drink a case of Jolt cola before they get on AH. THEY ARE OBNOXIOUS..worse case Ive been in was sitting in town with a wirble until it could pop and I had 2 of the worse squeakers near me arguing to eachother what character was better in world of warcraft.
and BTW Twentyfo...next time we get these squeakers on our squad vox, we all agreed to type in country "Twentyfo needs a gunner, any volunteers?" :D

i agree with you, and with Bruv, though you both have different angles at this. New players must learn some things on their own, and not ankle hump, but then again, they wont learn anything if we don't hold their hand for some of the learning curve. i know I'm not done learning, as i still ask many questions about the game as things come up.

Oh come on. I do it once in a while, especially when some guy is flying near me asking about something and you just can't help yourself to say "alt F4" just to watch them explode in mid air.
