Title: Bleriot SPAD S.510
Post by: 832725 on December 03, 2008, 07:24:49 AM: Aces high is great with WWII planes. I think in the EW (Early War) we should have a biplane. The Spad S.510 saw early WWII combat for the french. Only 61 where built but they shot down like 5 109s.They then where trainers only. I do not know when they retired. Here some details about the Spad:

Crew:1
Powerplant: 1x 69hp Hispano-suiza 12Xbrs 12-Cylinder Vee engine
Armament: 4x 7.5mm machine guns.
Performance: max speed 231MPH. Max alth 34,450ft

Post by: humble on December 04, 2008, 04:33:15 PM: Actually the curtiss hawk is probably the most needed early war plane. It was the true backbone of the French airforce and served with distinction with the finns as well. It would be a surprisingly lethal plane in the MWA in good hands as well.
