After viewing my tape I received from the History channel...."Thunderbolts"...I wanted to bring up two old issues:
~Napalm
~Ricocheting bullets off the ground
Both would add immense immersion factors.
Damn that was a good tape...gonna start doing more P47 sorties. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

1. ~Napalm
Isn't this an anti-personnel weapon?
And where are the troops to employ it on?
2.Ricocheting bullets off the ground
ok err nice eye candy but what kind of damage do Ricocheting bullets do on dirt?

Nexus,
Napalm is an anti ANYTHING that can be harmed by fire or heat weapon. It's not just for troops ya know.

And watching Discovery the other day an 80 year old Typhoon pilot (with cobwebs and everything) said that to kill panzers they'd richochet rounds off the ground to the underside of the tank. However, this was only done on hard surfaces, since we have very, very few hard surfaces in AH it wont be a lotta use.
How bout a big city HT? Something the size of Paris......oooooooh, big buildings to fly between......*homer sounds*

Nexx, in the last month of the ETO, it was used primarily on tanks, it would cook the occupants of the tank if it did not first set off their fuel that some tanks towed first.(According to "Thundbolts" video, and the pilots interviewed who flew them)
