Oh there's more. He got 13 kills in an m8 and all to the same guy. You know the one the same guy he killed so many times in the lancaster with the spit 1  :lol :lol (Well one of them)

He's still doing it this tour.  Looks like he's been vulching Lancasters flown by cook, 21 kills so far in a A6M2 (12 kills), D3A1 (6 kills) and a FW190A-8 (3 kills).  He's also killing cook's panzer in a M8.

If you look up cook, his only kills this entire tour was as a ship's gunner, one of them being WeedEter and another one that appears just to be a proxie on a jabo P-38L.

Too bad WeedEter doesn't frequent these boards, witch hunts are far more enjoyable when the hunted takes part in the thread.

Yeah, last tour 75% of his total number of kills (381!) were of just 2 players.

Untruth, the greatest spit 1 ace was Levi.  I once saw him land something like 177 kills in it :D.

Hey man didn't you know that when you get to 30,000 perk points you fly better?  The fact that you learnt stuff on the way to 30k  perkies eludes these people  :lol

infact I'll start that rumour at Christmas's squeeker season.  Keep the little bleeders busy killing themselves untill the 2 weeks is up.

Actualy it looks like it's getting back under control with these threads. Distributing the man-hours on so many witch-hunt-happy players prolly saves Skuzzy the time to look for them.

I'd say strip them of their scores, ranks and perks for a first offense, add a month long ban for a second offense and perma-ban them after that if they are caught again.

>> Why! Just someone tell me WHY!!!!!

There is a competition of losers called the "pilot" rankings.  Those that game-the-game compete against each other to see who the biggest loser is each month.

Hey they pay their $ each month too.  It has just never been easier to see who the losers are and how the they game-the-game.  :aok

Then there are the rest of us generally referred to as real pilots.

So you are tolerant of cheaters, scammers and liars then.  That being the case, I have a large sum of money but am unable to deposit it myself.  I would like to forward this large sum of money into your account, then have you send me a check for 80% of the total amount.  I'll alow you to keep the remaining 20% just for helping me out.  Please forward your real name, address, social security number and bank account number to me immediately so that I can have this large sum transferred into your account.

>> So you are tolerant of cheaters, scammers and liars then.

Nope.  Not one bit.  Sorry to give that impression guys.

I have accepted the fact that there is nothing I can do about it and that it will always be part of the game.  I think they are all a bunch of losers that undertake the methods they do.  They are nothing more than rank\stats collecting brainless bots.  Maybe being a loser is in their DNA.  Maybe their parents don't luv'm enough.  Who knows why they do it?

I just won't choose their practices.  I'll find enjoyment by flying like a pilot.  It seems the longer I am in this game the less value I see in rank and score.  I used to respect some of the "pilots" until I learned how they did it.  Shade accounts, fly a few missions as "fighter" and the rest and attack, etc. etc. etc.

Kinda fun to expose these folks so as they do not come off to new players as having any skill etc.  They really don't deserve any respect.

While I completely hate any shade killing that goes on, there is nothing that bans it in the HT bible.

If these players wish to have that little fun for their money, that's their stupidity.  I can't imagine hitting a sitting target over and over gets your blood pumping all that much.

I think it must be like dating a chick that looks hot as hell, but has "log syndrome" in the sack. (lays there like a log)

At least, now we can see who HT is stealing money from, LOL.

On a money note; how do we know these shades are not "2 weekers" using different IPs and e-mails to set up new accounts.
The shade score I just looked at, killed predominantly by one person, only has a score back to the last tour.  Sign up in the last weeks of last month and you get one week in that tour to pad scores and one week in the new tour.  If true, it would behoove HTC to ban the shade killer for that reason alone.

You fail to see the point.  This isn't about score/rank or even farming perk points and has everything to do with retaining 'fair play' within the community.  If you can't understand that, there is no point in trying to explain it further.

Everytime his named popped in the buffer I cringed because the witch hunters will think I have a shade. :lol I even offered to let him land 2 kills he had on another guy, but he chose to fly low through the ack which gave me that kill too. BS!

Then why don't you complain about the kid that logs on and slams his "plane" into the hanger repeatedly and doesn't care about his SCORE? How does this effect you in ANY way other than the SCORE page? All this is a a whine about someone taking YOUR spot on the glorious scores page. End of story

Bucky, the players this is supposed to root out are the ones that put score above gameplay.  The timid ones that give you no good fight whatsoever.. I don't think AKAK or any of the scorepotato witch hunt instigators like (at random) Stang or Lusche are scorepotatoes or interested in the limelight themselves.
You can't deny that if HTC is promoting scores, that it will breed competition for it, and that it's for the better if we manage to strip the chaff off of that.

Again, you fail to grasp the point.  I'm going to try to explain it one more time and hopefully this time the little light bulb will ding in your head.

One thing that helps foster a healthy and good community is the sense of fair play, especially in a PvP oriented game that offers rewards for being successful (perks and rank/score).  If an individual or group of individuals cross that line and it is not stopped and goes unchecked, whatever sense of fairness is gone and the community will die along with the game.  New players are not going to be attracted to a game where it is common amongst the players to basically cheat the system to artificially gain score/rank and perks rather than earning them like everyone else, through fair game play.  Veteran players will grow disgusted at how the community has gone to the crapper and leave as well.  Soon all that will be left are like air quake kiddies like biggamer and dextur vulching shade accounts.  Is that the type of game you want to see AH turn into or are you a Communist?

It's not only about score...

When I get zapped by a 262 in my Goon or B-24 I actually prefer my opponent having to had (grammar?) worked hard to get those necessary perk points instead of just doing 20mins of shade or squaddy vulching in a lesser populated arena.
What reason has any kind of balancing planesets by assigning perk values to a few über-planes when players are just dodging the rules by shady doings?

And just because you don't care for score, it doesn't mean everybody does. And no, not everybody that does look at his score is an unskilled n00b promoting lame gameplay... You can play the score aspect of this game in very different ways.

Afte rall it's all about trying to keep the game fair and transparent for everyone, no matter what style you are playing.

I just don't want my favourite game be known for such things.

Pretty far from communist here. I just don't have a problem grasping the fact that this is a GAME! Before you go throwing those ignorant comments out maybe you should think about what you are saying. Your calling me the COMMUNIST?!?!? WOW wtf? :rofl

So, who made you the judge on what is and what isn't "Fair Play"? I can't feel sorry enough for those that have to strive for this "reward" and get all bent out of shape when someone plays "unfairly". I for one think having guys like this is a good thing. Because those new guys that come in will instantly see that the whole SCORE thing is a joke and they might be more inclined to just go out and...........are you ready for this..............

HAVE FUN! I know, I know. Hard to grasp that concept in a online GAME but try as you must. What is ruining this game is the whole SCORE concept. Too many people worried about their stupid score so they are timid and don't want any bad marks on their precious stat sheet.

Think I've had an epihany here  :) I've often wondered why someone will do a quick spit s or whatever and get out of dodge asap if the inital merge doesn't go there way, Now I'm thinking that's the Score worshippers doing all they can to keep thier stats looking good.
Just given me more of an incentive to chase them down, even if it means me running out of gas over thier base or having to get them in their own ack that they hug so well.

I Sir regularly score in the top ten and by no means is it by acting "timid".  Equally I'm not a target drone for vulchers.  If a fields capped it's capped blah blah blah.  By your statement above you show little awareness of how to score...not that you should need to "score" I hassen to add.  You and your ilk perpetually misconstrue runners and timid players as scorers.....consistently.

As someone who scores highly consistently I too see my fair share of runners and timid players, BnZ'ers and cherry pickers but it all <drum roll> helps my score by getting stuck in <hat simbols>.  Just for your information 9 out of 10 runners I catch are no rank no skill players who run because they know they haven't the <drum roll> skill to win the fight....as simple and as clear as that.  We even see folk bail rather than die in a fight...wtf is that about?

What ruins this game is folks propensity to "short cut".  Weather that's pork and auger, bomb n bail, Lanc stuka's or Perk Farming a shade account.....not alot to do with score are they?

Take this person named in this thread.  By his actions he has the rank to take a Cv off YOU.  Which I personnel would take great exception to.  Chances are he hasn't a clue what to do with it and he'll get it sunk.  That's the end of your nice little furball or capture attempt having spent between 2 to 5 hours getting the Cv in position.  Again by his actions he could run you down in a Temp, F4u4, 262.  Had he earned the right to do that?  What if this guy having unfairly purchased a tiger then uses his shade account to resupply his tracked tiger with an m3 from the base he's attacking.  What if he uses his shade to sink your sides Cv's.  What if he then zooms your missions in a tempy?  Yer...all the above a little extreme being as he's only been caught perk farming so far but the point is....this game isn't rocket science as the kids over Christmass will prove to you.

So where do you draw the line between harmless fun and gaming the game?  Is it better to keep this game as clean as possible or is it OK to turn a blind eye to certain practices.  If you turned a blind eye where do you see the game progressing to?

I for one think having guys like this is a good thing.

Well, that about sums it up.  You obviously have no concept of fair play or a level playing field.

Give them no peace iTunes!  :lol :lol

WHO GIVES A CRAP?!?! It's a freakin game. Are you NOT having fun because of these guys? I SERIOUSLY doubt it. The only reason your torching them is because they might be taking your spot on the SCORE page. There can be NO OTHER EXPLAINATION so you might as well save it. Stop trying to make it sound like every time you log on these guys in some way bother your actual GAMEPLAY.

Keep fooling yourself boys.

Take off the flight suit and step away for awhile. :aok

Believe me bro... I don't take ANYTHING said on these boards seriously. I just use them to occupy my time when I'm at work and bored.

I just really find it funny when people throw stuff out there without any reasoning at all. I haven't spent 18 years of my life in the US military to support my communist position. :rofl
I don't care if you like or dislike me on these boards or in the game. There are only a hand full of guys on here that I would actually like to sit down and have a beer with.  This is PURELY entertainment for me. MANY on here take this crap WAY to serious and I find it both amusing and also a bit pathetic.

LYNX... I think you are one of the good guys in this game. I never pictured you as a SCORE watcher by the way you play. If that is something you strive for then so be it. I think that just knowing YOURSELF that these guys "ahead" of you on the score page are getting it "unfairly" should be good enough in your own mind to satisfy yourself that you are good at scoring the "right" way. Do you really care if anyone else see's your name in "lights"? I doubt it. THE ONLY thing I can see being wrong here is the CV command thing. That, I will agree with you on. That is something worth complaining about and should be addressed.

Still wouldn't be much of a game with out fair play. Imagine that you're playing cards with some buds and one cheats. Will you still say it's just a game and allow them to continue?!

If they are playing at the same table I was and playing for money then I would care. But, if they were just playing cards in the same room I was in and just playing it for fun I wouldn't care. Just because these guys are in the SAME arena as you doesn't at all mean they are directly effecting you.....Exept on the SCORE sheet.
Which has been my point all along. Another reason to get rid of the scores.

At the AH table your not playing for real money ;)

I contemplated that one too. Doesn't matter. There's no guarantee you will win in cards if there is money on the table. albeit that you have that opportunity. Still the money is up front and I doubt anyone would go into any game knowing there's no fair play.

Isn't it all about integrity, whether it's directly affecting you or not?  Does how a person acts within the game reflect how they are outside the game?  The community here attempts to police itself.  Score-potatos or otherwise, you need to draw the line somewhere or anything goes.
Maybe we should all just go play Quake.

Getback... I KNEW you wouldn't answer my question because you can't without it coming down to the truth which is..... SCORE! I'm assuming this is what all this "Fair play" talk is about. "Fair Play" = fair SCORING. It's not about actually logging on a virtually "dogfighting" someone. It's about what "rank" is taken away from you by other GAMERS that you and judge Ak Ak think are cheating.

For someone who doesn't take anything on these boards seriously, you sure do have a lot to say.

Just trying to help those in need. :D
I worried about score for awhile when I first started playing this game and when I finally came to my sense's and realized after all it was just a dang game that constantly reset's every month and you don't get money or a trophy or even possibly an autographed Ben Affleck photo then I started having waaay more fun. It's just a game. It doesn't matter ONE BIT who wins or lose's as long as you are having fun. I'm not saying that my way is the RIGHT way for everyone but I do think people put way to much stock in this ridiculous score thing.

That and......I'm self-employed so I got too much time to diddle around on the computer. :rofl

I actually prefer my opponent having to had (grammar?) worked hard to get those necessary perk points instead of just doing 20mins of shade or squaddy vulching in a lesser populated arena.

I know this is OT, but I guess I just have OCD.  I believe the correct grammar would be "...prefer my opponent having had to of worked hard..." And I also believe "...having to of had worked hard..." might work also.  But after repeating those two a few times over and over, I'm not sure they're even in English...  :huh

If bucky still thinks this whole thing is only related to "score" (esp after what Lynx said) then I have no use for his opinion.  I would say bucky is so mad he can't rank with the better players he has decided to rag on those who wish to play for score, since he can't acheive the score/status he wishes.  I could be wrong, but his posts indicate I am not.  Lucky for me, this board has an ignore feature, I shall now use it.

Lynx, your comments make 100% sense to all who have a brain and the reason to use it.  If it wasn't so long, I would use it as a signature.

As a player who contributes my $15 a month.  I expect that the host will maintain, where possible, the integrity of the game.  Like any game, a persons score should be indicative of some level of effort.  Sure, I maybe able solve a Rubik's cube faster than you, but if I did that by taking it apart, and reassembling it, it hasn't the same meaning.  (Rubik's cube is a "game" isn't it?)

I find it quit funny that you guys are so eager to point out that these guys are "vulching" each others account and playing "unfairly". Well, if that's the case then tell me what the difference between these guys and the guys that check their score, log on and start milking factories or bombing undefended base's. There isn't. Only difference is that you have someone LETTING the other one shoot them. Since you can't make post's about a FACTORY not defending itself you choose to pick on these guys. I would bet my left giblet that 9 out of 10 of you guys flaming about these "unfair" players are just those guys that bomb those factories....not ALL the time but when the score page calls for it.

At first I thought you were purposefully being obtuse but now I have come to the realization that you actually can't seem to grasp the concept of keeping some sort of intregrity in the game.

Someone who milk runs an undefended base is not the same as someone that vulches a shade account, this time the phrase "apples and oranges" really does apply.  While one (the milk runner) might be timid in the sense that he's attacking an undefended base, he is playing within the normal bounds of the game, while the person that is vulching a shade/2nd account is not.

And those you have alluded to playing for score, that couldn't be further from the truth.  You accused me of it but just look at my stats for the arenas I play in (LW and MW), hardly the stats of anyone that plays for rank/score.

And as someone pointed out, you seem very willing to defend the actions of players like WeedEter, which just goes to show me that you really don't have a clue as to what integrity is and probably the reason why your brain can't process what we've been saying.

You seem over occupied by score. Score means nothing in Ah because you can game the game. What does mean something in any game, job, agreement, family, or anything else is ethics. Someone vulching a shade is about as low as you can go. Next in line IMHO is the folks who try to defend them. I do not agree with the so called milkruns either. As far as factories go there is little reason to defend them and some will take advantage of that. Milkrunning, while it is looked down upon by most of us, is not a dishonest act.

I can't stress enough that this indeed is a GAME. Apparently you have a bit of a problem distinguishing the difference. If that's what they need to do to have fun then WHO CARES? My god man. Who are you to judge hour other people spend their money? I guess I AM defending them if they are having fun. If I want to spend 15bucks a month and let my kid play an internet game then I don't give a flyin crap what they do as long as it isn't physically hurting somebody.

"normal bounds of the game" ...How do you propose to stop these guys? BBS post's? :huh :rofl

Your word "integrity" in a internet game is nothing short of laughable. I'm sorry but I refuse to believe that some kid playing this game "unfairly" as you put it is going to somehow be a detriment to society when he becomes a man. Am I to believe that you didn't do stupid stuff as a kid or were you as perfect as you are now? Give me a break man.

You sir, wouldn't know the first thing about integrity. I can say that because since you can judge these guys I've just appointed myself to be the judge of you. So, herein lies my decision.  :aok
Btw...I don't remember ever singling you out saying you were a score watcher.

I sure hope your just pullin my chain now...... :D

Shuff, I don't agree with everything you say all the time but I consider you one of the "good players/guys", you would be one of those guys I would actually like to sit down and have a beer with someday. I do believe this post was made not to call out their "unfair play" but instead their "unfair" SCORE.  I mean really...what are these guys doing to directly effect the flamers other than score? 2 guys in a LARGE arena. Please tell me you don't really think it's about helping these kids with their "integrity".

I think first off to help them.... calling them out on the carpet. How they handle themselves from there will tell if they can be improved upon or not.

I didn't have "integrity" as you put it back when I was a KID and playing Atari against my brothers. I do now, because I don't do this stupid stuff these kids are doing. I believe integrity is something you learn and earn not something that can be forced upon you by some stranger over the internet. These kids will learn. For now, let them do what kids do. :aok

Nothing is being FORCED upon them...... they are being put in the spot light for what they are doing. Knowing that can happen in the future is likely to keep them a little more in line. You have to start somewhere. I see no issue with pointing them out.

My last post.....

My whole reason for posting on this subject wasn't the fact that they were "pointing them" out. It was that in my opinion-these "grown men" were crying about it because it was effecting them and it wasn't "fair" to THEM.  I truely believe they didn't post it to bring these kids "integrity" in question. If it was, what do kids usually do when you tell them "you can't do that"? ........

Exactly :D

I caught my son stealing from a grocery once. I made him give it back and apologize to the manager. He was embarrassed and I doubt if he steals today. So I guess if I just "let him be a kid" then he would grow up to think stealing is okay.

BTW, how do you know they're kids????

Most of what I see in these "post the posure" threads tends to be funny IMHO. It doesn't bother me as score goes. I play for the enjoyment of flying an aircraft , albeit a cartoon one, a select living few flew years ago. I am a WWII buff and a plane nut..... not the salted kind  :P . For those that work hard for score I can see where it would ruffle feathers. For me... I'm just concerned that it may lead to others doing the same lame thing. If that should happen this game could go in the dumpster quick. I see these posts as a way to curb those types from infecting the legions of new folks we have come in month to month.

The Cowboys From Hell squad were called out in a post like this at the end of last camp for the same behavior.  I spoke to one of them on-line last week and guess what.  He was a grown man, not a kid.

The Cowboys From Hell had their scores adjusted by Skuzzy, taking out all of their shade kills.

The month prior, Amsoil21 was called out in a thread like this and his scores were adjusted, taking out all of his shade kills.

It seems to me that HTC also want's to maintain the integrity of their game.

I don't know about you but I don't really like to play games against cheaters and I'm sure that I'm not alone in this.  If you enjoy it, more power to you.  Have fun when it's only you and them left.

So, your sure he would have kept stealing if you didn't make him give it back? These guys aren't stealing anything from anybody. Just score. I would hope my kid would know the difference between reality where it really effects someone and games where no matter what your rank is, in the end it pretty much means nothing. Those that believe gaming is real are the ones you read about in the news.  I see my kid play games on X-box and she drives her car into the wall for fun sometimes. Do, you think she will do it when she grows up if I don't stop her now?

Think not :aok

I don't know they are kids but you don't know they aren't. I just assumed most grown ups wouldn't act this way anymore. MOST :lol

Bucky, do you really believe that AKAK, Stang, Lusche, and others who have been there and done that with regards to scoring and topping 95% of the arenas in furballing and ground attack and fighter sweeps, really are envious of some tardlets with barely anything memorable  about em except some 'special' number next to their name?  That they post about players pooping where everyone eats with tears in their eyes?  Do you let your kids borrow your car and wreck it into retirement homes over and over because 'kids will be kids'?

Merely being tardlets and dweebs isnt the issue here.. It's devaluating the game's elements, regardless of which one it is (scoring or hording or exploiting bugs or outright cheating or polluting vox, etc), no matter whether they're your type of play or not. 'Out of sight, out of mind' doesnt really work in AH. The AH world is just too small for anything to get out of hand without everything else suffering from it at least a bit.

And I personaly dont give a rat's. I never look at scoring except when I have to land jets on CVs, don't care about winning the war or getting perks from it, nor anything else I can think of right now, except having some good fights.  But I do see an erosion on the game when people skew score into absolute meaninglessness, or when they poison the game with rumors and suspicions caused by ponies dropping 50 million lbs of bombs, or when some armchair general dweeb stirs clueless noobs into suicide porking sweeps. There`s nothing to gain from letting that happen, not in downplaying it as negligible because without consequences.

No, I don't believe that. My point exactly. Why bring it up on the boards. And again the car thing. Kids play games, grown up drive cars thats REALITY. I wouldn't let my KID borrow my car at all even if she didn't wreck it into a retirement home. :rofl :huh

Read my above post :aok

I do agree that gameplay has definately went downhill. If I don't see guys on like Stang, Creton, SR,  and also Corky and the rest of his gang and a few others then I get bummed because I like the way they play. Having fun and mixin' it up a bit not caring if the "land kills". Win or lose, it's still a bit satisfying as far as gaming goes.  :salute

Bucky you keep referring to this person as a kid.  The chances are this is likely to be an adult in full time employment.  Know any kids that have an allowance to pay $30 to $45 per month?  Better still know any parent that would condone such a self indulgence?

If this game got a reputation for less than honest play would folk still pay to play?  If in 2 yrs time you log in and the arena is 25% run tard skilless tempies would you still pay to play?  If I ran a steaming hot bath for you then pissed in it would you still bath?

Yes this is JUST a game.  I can't for the life of me think of a game that doesn't have either goals, tactics, competition or sense of achievement.  So why do folk find it necessary to shoot the living watermelon out of a shade instead of just PLAYING the game.   If your gonna tell me it's just for the chits and jiggles I would believe that if this guy just shot his shade once or twice but 200+ times isn't chits an jiggles mate.  This isn't inverted flight through the hangers or getting air in ya 90MPH hill jumping panzer.  For those of us that earn our perkies fighting / playing this is nothing short of the finger.  Think about that next time your cherry picked by a perk plane.
