Title: Downloading films
Post by: Getback on December 05, 2008, 07:14:12 AM
When I see someone as posted a film that I have to download it makes me nervous and I don't do it. So what are the hazards of Downloading? What is it I am downloading a film or a program?

film. You either play it on the AHFilm Viewer, or on Windows Media Player.

As 1Plus said. You're typically downloading an Aces High Film file (.ahf) or a compressed media file either compressed in an archive or the raw data. (.avi, .mpg, .mpeg, .wmv either raw, or in a .rar/.zip archive)

If they're in an archive, WinRAR will open it.

I run my whole site off of download films and movies.  I can attest that every single one of the files on aceshighmovies.com is worry-free.  You can get trojans that piggy back on movie files (i.e. .avi or mpeg files), but you really have to go searching for them.  Mainly warez sites.  And thats if you didn't contract something just by visiting the site.
