I was on the WoT vox Weds. night with TilDeath, SHawk and DUCK1. DUCK1 was looking for help and I believe the three of us managed to assist him.
Then I asked TilDeath a question about Internet Security. I knew the NOD32 was "cat's arse" for AV's. But he mentioned they had an "all inclusive" package with Firewall, AV and Spyware. It is the Eset Smart Security.
Mind you I was using Threatfire, PC Tools Free AV and Firewall.
I downloaded the Free 30 day trial of the Smart Security last night and I have found what I was looking for. Not only does it update with absolutely minimal disruption, it scans fast and barely registers like the other AV's out there.
But the best part? I went from 26 processes to 20 by switching. I'll be purchasing either a 1 or 2 year subscription around the 1st of the year.
Thanks TilDeath! :rock

Glad we could help

NOD32 is awesome. I too am impressed that it has such a low system signature. However the Internet Security Package is overkill for me. I only use the AV machine.

I did the same thing about 6 months ago. It has been a great setup and works like a champ for me.
