Title: why does it keep doing this!!!!!???

whenever i get over 2k all the terrain landscape dissapears and so do the gv's!!!!! that im flying right under.

i was at 2k flying above a flak and i saw this firing but there was nothing there, no trees no gv icon not even a dot for the gv. so i got killed and i can't figure this out. my landscape view range is at 3 miles i don't get it!!!!! every single tree,gv, even somtimes a base itself disapears and all i see is planes and the dark green spot where forest tree SHOULD BE.  :cry

Sounds like your view mode.  They are something like Control F1, F2, F3... or Shift F1, F2, F3 or something like that.

Its SHIFT, not CONTROL, but ya that sounds like the problem to me too. Other than that, have you messed with the details slider on the "graphics" tab on the clipboard?

Fugitive is correct, Shift F1, F2, F3, F4 for different view modes.

On the plus side, you didn't think this was a bug.

Make sure your graphics in game (Object detail) is on detail also.
