Title: Carbon Dioxide (No S.U.V.’s) Detected on Distant Planet
Post by: RATTFINK on December 11, 2008, 01:17:32 PM
Astronomers found CO2 instead of CO on a distant planet with presumably no SUVs on the planet. Oh noes...could Gore be wrong?

The earth is flat, this is all you need to know.

Eh?  This has no relation whatsoever to any global warming theories.  Many planets and moons in our own solar system are full of carbon-oxygen compounds of one type or another.

More than likely life forms of some kind too.....

Nope, Gore will use that has a great example since the planet is at 1700 F. Never mind the sun is astronomically a stones throw away.

i thought that the problem with SUVs was carbon MONOxide.

It looks pretty dead to me. Maybe Gore does have a point. All the SUVs have been buried under the desert already after a few hundred years since the pollution killed the planet! err.. I mean all the significant life on the planet!

We got too much Co2 man! I mean its global warming making it snow in Austin today... Were all going to die!

Over the course of the next 10-20 years the oceans will be releasing some 20000000 times the CO2 man does and then after that re-absorbing the gas. The planet loves the stuff. I said it before: long after we (humans) are gone the planet will still be kicking butt!

So basically the alien sport utility vehicles are green?  Is that right?

Yes but these are alien SUVs, try and keep up.

How do we get that technology?

HB 1987 is a pretty name for a planet. :P
