Title: New Map Command
Post by: Dantoo on December 13, 2008, 07:29:51 AM
Request something like a ".centre xx" command where xx is the number of a field.

Trying to find a particular field on some maps can be difficult.  A command of this sort would bring that field to the centre of your map.  Much less eyestrain.

My first thought was that this could be accomplished by the .move command . . . but that doesn't help if you are looking for an enemy base or are already in flight.

So, upon further review . . . good idea indeed!   :aok

The Sector numbers are no use if you dont know where it is. If you are looking for a base, then the sector numbers matter little, unless you have friendlies there. Sounds a good idea to me
