I posted an actual call from a woman who was getting her car repossessed from the bank and got banned for a week.

I may be off on this, but. . .
If your are talking about the one I think, it had to do with Obama, and the new rules are as follows:
"14- Posting topics or threads which are based on politics, race, or religion is expressly forbidden." (Skuzzy)
It would be best for everyone to actually read those rules.
Skuzzy, Forum Posting Rules: Required Reading.

This is breaking no rules, right? Sure hope not.

Do you mean to say that you could be banned for posting his name?

Well since that person who's name you mentioned is in politics, I have to believe that yes you can get banned for posting something to do with him, because undoubtedly anything you talk about in regards to him would be about politics, or atleast it would evolve into a discussion about politics.
As for 170E, no I don't think he would get banned for that as he was just explaining to you why you may of been banned.

Yea, you really got to watch yourself of what you post, especially if it is political. Skuzzy and i had a long talk about it and basically it comes down to this: if you think it is not political, mostly likely it is.
Perhaps skuzzy could go into more details on exactly what qualifies as a political statement. That way it helps out those, Like myself, know what is a political statement or not.

The comments attached to the video implied that Obama's followers are low income, low intelligence African Americans. That's very derogatory in nature, plus it's also a political statement. Personaly, I think this is why you got Skuzzyfied, not for using the name "Obama". :salute
