Any chance of having automated blue text announcing "event x starting in the SE arena in 30 mins" with maybe "walk-ons are allowed for this event" ect in the MA's, or perhaps an hour before the event starts and every subsequent 20 mins.
It would be a handy reminder for tools such as myself, aid with time zone differences and possibly bring in new faces

Yeah...I'd love it. I know some guys go in and announce it on 200 but there's many people that don't have 200 tuned, but still fly the events.

That would be appreciated by some. +1

Sure would have helped last nights scramble. :aok
-
LOL! That's what us CM's are for :D
-
There is no "automated" blue text, to do that a CM has to log into each arena.
The problem is, the setup CM ussually has his hands full about that point.
-
Good idea :aok would also let the new guys know that theres more to AH than the MA :)
-
Or more properly, what we've requested in the past is a dot command where a CM can send CM announcments over to other arenas when an event is about to start.
Reasons:
- The arena cap can make it difficult to stop in each arena to type an announcment.
- Channel 1 is disabled in some arenas, and not everyone tunes to 200.
- Announcments on 200 in gray text may blend in with the chatter in a busy MA.
- Country change time limits prevent individual CMs from anouncing on all channel 2s.

Great Idea!!! :aok :aok :aok
Unfortunately the "privaledge" of typing in blue text for CM's, is limited to the SEA I or SEAII at this time.

Great idea for the community.

Agreed, the ability for CM's to send public announcements to the MA's, before a SEA event starts without having to leave the SEA,would be a great help.

+1 from me! :aok

Sometimes just Mass adverstisment. I know I did it for Subways SNS and all of the SEC.
Brings some pilots in. But not alot usually.
Great idea :aok

I like it!

This would be a great addition both for the CMs and for the players.
