Title: Winter Breakout Problems

Hi all

Every time I try to play the Winter Breakout mission my computer locks up as soon as I select the mission and the plane and click on OK. All of the files are in the right folders.

Anyone else having this problem?

Which drive do you have Aces High installed on?

I have a dual boot system. Aces High is on both drives C: and D:
The normal drive I use is D:( XP Home); the C: drive is XP Pro 64. <Don't ask how it got to be that way LOL>

So the mission files are stored on the D: Drive. If I download the files to the C: drive where another copy of AH is, do you think they would work? Think I will try it anyway.

I am usually on the D: drive. Is there any way that I can modify the mission to make it refer to D:\?

I never thought this might be an issue. So far, all of the other missions that I have work on the D:\ installation with no problems.

If you want to play it on your D: drive, here is what you have to do. Open the .mis file with Notepad or some other document program.  Anywhere that you see C: at the beginning of the text lines, change it to D:, then save.  That will fix you up.

Good to hear.  If you download my Raiders of the Rising Sun mission or the one I'll have out here in the next day or two (Hell's Gate), you'll have to do the same. <S>
