to anyone while flying in AH or on a BBS or what ever on the net.....
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,470629,00.html
some tried to tell people, to warn them.... but NOOOO people said this is the net and they could say or do as they wanted... yadda yadda yadda ....
And of course, some of went too far, and now it's JUST STARTING to come back....
NOW perhaps it can be understood why HTC started cracking down on some....
Hey companies are starting to get law suites and when that happens they HAVE to go after the ejits that cause the problems.
If a company, any company, wants to avoid law suites, and stay in business, and not lose everything to the legal system, they MUST become pro-active regarding such issues!
HISTORY repeats itself over and over and over.
OOPS adding this link...

Yep, it was a matter of time before something like this will happen. I wont be surprise if more is this has happen too.

:cry We have to protect the children. :cry Heaven forbid the child has to learn how to deal with bullies or even worse....heaven forbid the parents take responsability for monitoring what there children are doing.
Certainly there should be laws dealing with extreme bullying, harassment and stalking. A lot of time though simply ignoring the persons attempts to engage you in some type of response causes them to find something or someone else to bug.
That she sent a text message isn't what i think got her in trouble so much as the verbal messages that were left by her. As with any case/charges brought by a lawyer they charge you with as many different types of crime/offenses as they can in the hope that they can convict you on at least 1.
Guess the old saying "Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me." no longer is valid. The "keypad is mightier than the sword". ;)

I think these are two key statements regarding the Fox article:
About 45 states have updated their laws to address harassment through electronic communications
He said harassment over the telephone has been a crime for years in Missouri.
Not like there aren't laws that already deal with the action. Just not the medium.
I also liked this:
Kielty said Missouri's revised harassment measures are bad law. "It's probably one of the worst written laws I've seen in my career," he said.
He said kids used to say things face to face or pass notes in school commenting on someone's looks or weight. The new law "criminalizes behavior that otherwise wouldn't be illegal except for the medium," he said.
"It's not criminal. It might be mean-spirited, but it's not criminal," he said.
Weren't many of the past shooting sprees in High Schools partly attributed to the shooters having been bullied in the past? But hey, they're only kids......

And this is the reason why our country is rotting from the inside. We've allowed our countries legal system to turn our people into thin-skinned, spineless, heartless human beings. Absolutely ridiculous.

And thats part of the problem.
Time was when we would have recognized that bullying wouldnt be an even partial excuse to those shootings.
Now we try to excuse everything

Exactly. Instead of admitting that our wonderful country harbors and creates ruthless killers, they use entertainment (movies/video games) as the scapegoat. There's a pill for everything, because people don't want to deal with their problems like their grandparents did.
I understand that senseless bullying could eventually lead to a murder, kids just need to grow thicker skin. I was teased, like everyone else in school, sometimes more because I used to be slow, as in mentally slow. I never killed anyone. Because I had morals that were worth a damn instilled in me from my parents. And that's one of the overlying major problems, parents have become ghosts, the old fashioned traditional family values have disappeared.
I knew about harassment over the phone, but getting into the internet is insane. If you can't handle someone that you'll never meet calling you a doodie head, then you're not fit to step out of the house.
