Title: Do Discos count as deaths?

I get a bunch of them, @HOME cable sucks, and I just wana know if they do?

They count as discos, separate score.. though, disco is very much equivelant to death and in scores it will affect your K/D ratio and so on forth..

Hi Grunherz @home here too.  
Watch your Cable Modem to see if it's dropping the line.  Then call them up and squeak, get a free month or two.

Then go out and buy a 56k modem.

 YA my provider dumps me ever 2 hours unless i have key strokes,the pisser is this game is not recognized as such so i have to go out and do something every so often to stay on line (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/frown.gif)

Ping time to HTC with @home: 40-300 ms (off-peak)
Ping time to HTC with a telephone modem: 150-170.

A disco counts as 1/2 of a death.

And I switched from @HOME to dsl because of discos.

Eskimo, but it does seem to effect on K/D ratio as full death.

I think a disco counts as 1/2 a kill in regards to tallying your score for that sortie.  It counts as a kill on the k/d calculations for the score page (similar to a capture or a bail).

As far as K/D Ratio calculations are figured;
A death, a bail and a capture count as a death.  
A disco counts as 1/2 of a death.  
A landing and a ditch do not count as a death.  
We all also start with 1 bomber and 1 fighter death.

So if you had on your personal score page, under fighter stats:
 1 death, 1 bail, 1 capture, 1 disco, 1 ditch, 1 landing and 9 kills, your K/D would be 2:1.   (9 kills to 4 1/2 deaths) {Including the 1 automatic death}

Figure it out on your personal stats, it works out to the decimal evey time.  

Add your kills of fighters and bombers (from fighter sorties) and divide by deaths + bails + captures + .5 X discos.
