Agreed.  It has been a fun year.  We've learned some good things and some bad things.  It's the way of the AvA, I guess.

Now to put the knowledge to good use in the coming year.

Merry Christmas, all.

Merry Christmas to every one!

You know, I've been flying in AH for almost 8 years now, and alot of it used to be spent in the CT (what we call the AVA now).
What's happening here really is cyclical. To quote a popular TV sreies  "all this has happened before, and will happen again".

I can tell you that the best fights I have had in AH have been in the CT (AVA). There has always been a difference in quality and quantity of fights here.

I don't spend as much time as I used to in here, and I think i will change that. I also don't behave like I used to, and that is something I will change.

I have had my handle (or cpid for us old AW geeks) for 10 years now, and for the most part, I like to think I have been civil and polite (with the odd good natured chide) to my fellow pixel pushers. I admit in the last few months I have become much more vocal and antagonistic and would like to apologize here and now for that behavior (work, family and lost friends due to my profession have taken a toll, although I don't accept that as an excuse, just an understanding...maybe).

Finally, Oldman, I owe you an apology Sir. About a year ago you and I tied into each other in the CT(AVA), me in a C202, you in a P38G, I remember asking you if you wanted some advice, and I gave you a lecture instead. Please believe that that is not me...that always reeked of arrogance to me and wasn't deserved by you. (truth be told, those fights I had with you were pure luck on my part).

Anyhoo....Look forward to a more normal RTR in the future, It's time I got back to being me again.

cheers,
RTR

Are you a Battlestar Galactica fan too?   :)

Dude, advice is always appreciated, especially when it's good advice, as yours always is.

So saw we all indeed.  :)  I hope they finish the series well.  Last season was a bit of a letdown.  Oops, I think I just hijacked a thread.  A first for me I think!

I thought Battle Star Galacta ended sometime in the early 80's. You know it was prime time T.V. then lol

There's been a new one the past year or two on the scifi channel. It doesn't have Loren Green though so what's the use.  :D
