Title: 109 - Low fuel red warning light
Post by: SouthLanda on December 30, 2008, 09:42:17 PM
Hi,

I have been reading a few reports from german and allied 109 pilots and they mention the 'red light' that was a fuel warning light, that used to mark b15 minutes of fuel remaining.

Could we please have a glowing red light when there are 20 gallons left in the 109 fuel tank?

109s allready look nice. This wouldn't be done for a long time, especially since you can just check your E6B

Fuel gauge...glance at it every now-and-then...see where you are and where you need to go...learn how far you can go on a given fuel loadout...throttle back a little.

I see what he's saying though, it would add to the immersion factor I guess.  Of course it can't be very high on the list as it would require a reskin.

Yes, but when your dogfighting your not going to click esc. then E6B and check. Also, i don't always look at my fuel gauge. So, 109 beeping light. I think its very clever, IN.

I don't suppose you could add this to the F4U's. They didn't have that but it still be nice.  :aok

You don't seem to understand the meaning of 'in'. It means you're getting your post 'in' on a thread that is about to be locked, not that you're 'in' on the idea.

Insert 'inb4thelock' pictures and whatnot.

Way off topic
"IN" is not used the way you think.  "IN" is used to get "into" a thread that will surely get locked.

Hey guys, I use the fuel gage and the E6B :-)

Its just for immersion and historical reasons. The red light was the cue to dive away and RTB.

Did somebody ever saw a HTC member respond to some, or even just one "wish"? And by respond i don't reffer to the "make it happen", just a simple answear back. Do they really analyze and discuss about our wishes? Don't think i ever saw a HTC reply, negative or positive, in the wishlist area. Would it be so hard to say: "We are going to add/not add this in the next 6 months", or "We've talked about this, not going to happen due to X factor". I think it would be great if we got some official answears, not on all the wishes, many of them being either stupid/unrealistic. It would eliminate the "When are we getting this?!?!" factor, witch i think it would be nice.
