I was coming to Branch27's rescue as Rattfink in the 109 and Shifty in a 190 closed for the kill. Caught Ratt in a long 90 degree snapshot, but he kept going for Branch.

Shifty nailed Branch and extended while I made sure Ratt's 109 was down for the count.

Shifty reversed and we danced briefly before I had to take my PW'd arse back to the barn. Unfortunately, (or perhaps very fortunate for Shifty) was he ran out of gas as he egressed, but I was too banged up to go for a proxy.
:lol
Good fights guys, thanks

I couldn't figure out why you wouldn't go down and branch seemed to soak up hits in his 38.
Once my gas ran out and I was in the process of ditching I noticed I forgot to turn my cannons on when I got rid of my drop tank.

Yah I was missing an aileron and the PW and that was it. Then I saw Ratt had his tank still on and wondered if you two were a couple of winging n00bs... until Shifty said he was outta gas. That's when I started wondering why I wasn't shot down yet. :O

Yes well if I were to quit making mistakes, I just wouldn't be me. :D

:rofl Uhm... Here's a shot of you pointing out Branch's mistake. Unfortunately he thought you gave him the finger and replied in kind. :o Had one of the two of us passing in a merge but this looked soooo much better photgraph wise.

Odee, use the PNG format for those awesome screen shots, not JPG.

I see my mistake now everybody else kept their drop tanks avoiding gun arming issues. :lol

What's the reason for this Gav?

How?

PNG format does not cause those distortions you see between color borders. Open the image in a program like paint, gimp, or photoshop, "save-as" and select the appropriate file type. BMP is the highest quality, but it's far too large for emailing or viewing at a bbs. PNG gives you better quality than a JPG, but without the cumbersome size of a BMP.

Here's the difference:

I never had any color bleed with JPG as I do with BMP Maybe it's the # colors used in those formats?
