can tell you don't fly 38's. i don't see a blender anywhere. :D
seriously.....what'd you build that out of?

If you want a WWII theme on a budget, start watching E-Bay for period ads and photo spreads from magazines. I have about a dozen, all P-38 themed, and spent about $25 total on them (not counting the frames). Those on the walls and couple of pre-painted models are a quick and relatively cheap way to "theme" a room.

Beer holder was on back order if you can believe that !!! It's on there now !can tell you don't fly 38's. i don't see a blender anywhere. :D

I flew the Hog when I first started in AH :D
The frame work is made out of cabinet grad 3/4 inch plywood, and its skinned in 1/4 plywood. I built it in 6 pieces so I could fit it through a 32 doorway of my computer room. Heres a couple more pictures...

Total cost was about $150, and it took a few months to put it together. I've had it a few years now and its still holding up well.

I really can not see the point in ever making a cock-pit for AH2. Sorry but i just see that as a waste of time. :frown:
EDIT: Don't get me wrong it looks nice!

I think its great.... it would be cool to do all the gauges and stuff...
<S> nice set ups guys

Some people like to build stuff, I think it's great. I broke a wheel of my computer chair and lean forward while diving.....sadly after a "Couple" the chair turns and if I don't pay attention sometimes it leans to another side and I fall out.
As far as decorating my computer room....well it's in my living room, and it often resembles a destroyed town building. Of course Barbie and my little ponies lived in that building. So to decorate, just have two little girls and play AH for a couple hours and your living room could look like mine......on second thought, bad idea.

My computer is in my bedroom...so all i have to do is decorate my desk and the 2 draw filing cabinet beside it (which is covered in 1/64th scale farm toys)
Fugitivie...i envy you :D
