Title: Hangtime ! how do you "skid" ? (Pony inv flat spins)

hehehe,

Waiting for the postoffice to do their job...flying a lot in H2H meanwhile...

So, I took up my "good olde lady" & I ended up in a couple of nice Spins as well as a VERY NASTY inverted flat spin ! (Nice moddeling there HTC!). I was spinning & tumbling to the ground with my head down, for about 15K    (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)

It,s the 1st time in a Sim I got a hard time getting out of one of those, Neat !

how do you get into inverted flat spin ?

I understand how to get into spins, normal and accelerated and I think that to get into a flat spin you just pull nose litte up and add power, but how to get inverted, flat spin ?

Close the throttle, put your nose up 30 degrees or so and wait for the approaching stall, just as the buzz gets loud shove throttle full open  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif) It should jerk over one way and ya got a wing stall.

Zoom straight up in about any plane and cut the throttle.  Hold it straight up as long as you can then neutralize the stick and rudder as it starts to flop.  Most of the planes will enter a spin from that position, often inverted.

IRL, an intentional inverted spin is entered the same way as an upright spin, just upside down.

Fly inverted, cut power, and push the stick to hold the nose above the horizon.  Add full left or right rudder right before you stall.

To flatten it, add power again.
