Now im not exactly an expert but I take it that losing 100% of the packet shortly after it crosses the atlantic is a bad thing? Tho perhaps not as bad as line 23 "destination unreachable" ?
If im barking up the wrong tree can somone point me in the right direction?

That's a mess. The problems start within BT's network and it goes downhill after that. Looks like something is a miss at the U.S. gateway with BT's connection as well.
I think you should contact BT about this as well.

up here in New England we are having some rotten weather. Our internet crashed mid afternoon and is only now starting to come back up. Bad weather in NY might have something to do with it.
-
That is very true. Weather can, and usually does, wreak havoc on the Internet.
-
hmm, well I spose the weather is a likely culprit, considering I rarely warp, or get disco'd or any of the other problems Ive been having. NOw I come to think of it, its been worse since it got freakishly cold in these parts too...spose ill have to wait till it all thaws out !

My ping runs thru NY too and thats where it falls apart a bit. Try it again in a day or so it may clear up. If not call your ISP and let them know how you feel :t
